Hi, everybody! It's me, Derek Zeman the famous blogger. I am here today to talk to you all about going to see Oz: the Great and Powerful on Sunday. Tammy, Natalie, Becky, Alex and I went to the Showtime Theater in Franklin Sunday and I got to pay for my movie ticket for Oz: the Great and Powerful because it was worth twenty dollars. Then Tammy had to pay for one large popcorn so Tammy and I got to share it, and Natalie bought herself a kiddie popcorn and a small drink. Then we all walked into the auditorium and we were all ready to see Oz: the Great and Powerful. The movie was about Oz, played by James Franco, who got into his hot-air balloon because he saw a tornado coming. Oz was going around and around in the tornado when suddenly, he found himself in a magical land called Oz. Oz was so happy to be there when he saw a witch wearing a red hat, and she was played by Mila Kunis. The witch said to Oz, "You're in Oz." And Oz said, "Well, I must had been dreaming, so now I can follow the yellow brick road to go to the Emerald City with you." The witch in the red hat said, "Of course, but you have to meet my sister who lives in the Emerald City." Oz was filled with fairies, a lion, a tiny china glass girl, a talking monkey who pretends to be a hotel doorman, many flying baboons, scarecrows and of course, the Munchkins! My favorite character in Oz: the Great and Powerful is Glinda, the Good Witch of the South. Glinda was played by Michelle Williams, and she helps Oz build a contraption from out of a horse carriage and Glinda was captured by two wicked witches. Glinda used her magic wand to free herself from those chains and she casted a magical spell to get the two wicked witches away from the flying baboons and the soldiers. At the end of the movie, Oz told Glinda that he will become the Wonderful Wizard of Oz, and Glinda said yes. So they kissed in the tent and loved each other so much. Oz: the Great and Powerful was a wonderful movie, and I really liked it, and so did Natalie, Tammy, Becky and Alex! I sure hope my dad would like to see Oz: the Great and Powerful when I would like to see it again. Well, everybody, I gotta go now and remember that Oz: the Great and Powerful was a wonderful movie to see and I like Glinda because she's my favorite character in the movie. See you soon, and I am always a very good and famous blogger! Bye-bye!

Hello, Uncle Richard! I'm here on my blog today to talk to you about going to see the movie Lincoln on Saturday. My dad and I went to Showtime Cinema in Franklin and my dad bought us two tickets for the movie Lincoln on Saturday. Then we walked to the concession stand and we bought us two large tubs of popcorn and two large sodas. Then my dad and I were all ready to see Lincoln! Lincoln was about the 16th president of the United States named Abraham Lincoln, played by Daniel Day-Lewis. It took place in the year 1865, where President Lincoln was inaugurated for his second term in office. He had a wife named Mary Todd Lincoln, who was played by Sally Field. While in the movie, Uncle Richard, President Lincoln was telling his cabinet about the Emancipation Proclamation he read in 1863, the Civil War and many Civil War generals that were dead and wounded. The North finally won the Civil War in 1865, and President Lincoln announced that he and his cabinet were going to find many dead Civil War generals lying outside on the battlefield grounds, and they did found them bleeding and wounding and being assassinated on the ground. Abraham Lincoln said to his cabinet, "Well, the Civil War is finally over now, so we can go back to Washington, D.C. to continue on our work." It was April of 1865, and at Ford's Theater in Washington, D.C., Our American Cousin was playing, and during the play John Wilkes Booth yelled to everyone in the audience, "President Abraham Lincoln is shot! He's assassinated! Sic Semper Tyrannis!" And everyone was crying and screaming about President Lincoln being assassinated by John Wilkes Booth. At the end of the movie, Uncle Richard, President Lincoln was dead and was lying his dead body in bed, and in his thoughts he heard himself saying a wonderful speech to the people of the United States. Lincoln was a great movie, Uncle Richard! My dad and I really enjoyed it and we also liked it! I sure hope Lincoln would win an Academy Award for Best Picture this year. Well, Uncle Richard, it sure was nice talking to you on my blog, and I'm signing off now because I will be seeing you soon sometime in April because you have a Spring Concert to conduct at Beaver Dam High School. Good-bye, Uncle Richard, and remember that your favorite nephew Derek is always a very good blogger! See ya!

Hello, everybody! My name is Derek Zeman, and today on my blog I'm gonna talk about some movies that I'm gonna see. First, I'm gonna see the Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, which is the movie that's directed by Peter Jackson. It was based on a book by J.R.R. Tolkien, and it's also the first series before the Lord of the Rings trilogy. The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey has lots of wonderful and amazing characters, such as a hobbit named Bilbo Baggins who lives in the Shire, and Gandalf, a magical wizard that helps Bilbo go on a journey and defeat all the evil villains. Yesterday I talked to my sister Becky that she and I would like to go see the Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey someday, and my little niece Natalie would like to go along, too, if she wants to. The next movie that I'm gonna see is Lincoln. It's a movie with Daniel Day-Lewis, Sally Field and Tommy Lee Jones. Lincoln is about the 16th president of the United States named Abraham Lincoln, who goes through his life by marrying his wife named Mary Todd Lincoln, reading the Gettysburg Address during the Civil War, and being assassinated by John Wilkes Booth while he was watching a play at Ford's Theater. Uncle Richard told me about seeing Lincoln with my dad someday, and that will be a great movie to see because Uncle Richard had already seen it. Next, I'm gonna see Oz: the Great and Powerful, and it's also the movie that's coming to theaters in March. Maybe on my birthday, my sister Becky would be taking me and Natalie to go see Oz: the Great and Powerful. It has witches, a wizard who voices over the great and powerful Oz, fairies, and lots more fantasy characters. Going to see Oz: the Great and Powerful would be a very good thing to do while celebrating my birthday. I don't know any other movies that I'm gonna see this year, but I'm gonna have to wait to find out. Well, everybody, I'm gonna talk about what movies I got for Christmas. I got the Avengers, the Dark Knight Rises, Dr. Seuss' The Lorax, the movie Brave and the Rocky Horror Picture Show on Blu-ray. That's all five movies that I got so far for Christmas! And now that's enough movies that I'm gonna see this year for today, so I'm gonna go now and tell my whole family that I'm gonna see the Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, Lincoln, and Oz: the Great and Powerful that's coming in March. See ya, everybody, and remember that I am a very good blogger! Bye!

Hi, Becky! It's your favorite brother, Derek. I'm here on my blog to talk to you about going to Planet Fitness with my dad. Every other day, my dad and I go to Planet Fitness on 27th and Morgan. Becky, you've been to the Planet Fitness on 27th and Morgan for a very long time. I always put my Planet Fitness number in my wallet for when we go there to workout. When my dad and I go to Planet Fitness every other day except on my bath days, we have to show our numbers to the owner who runs there. Then we can walk to the locker room so we can put our coats in our lockers. Then we can step up on the scale to see how much we weigh. And then we're all ready to workout! First, my dad and I went on the treadmills for 30 minutes. I pushed quick start on the treadmill and if I wanna go as fast as I usually can, I can just set the speed up to 2.5 or 3.0. I worked up a sweat by walking on the treadmill, and so did my dad. After we walked on the treadmills, Becky, we walked on over to the exercise bikes and we sat on them for 15 minutes. I started pedaling first and then I pushed quick start on the exercise bike. I pedaled and pedaled as fast as I can till my dad and I both worked up our sweats. After we pedaled on the exercise bikes, Becky, we walked to the arm curling machines and we did 10 of our arm curls. I also flexed up my muscles by counting to 10 and I did 10 more to see how strong I am. After we got done with our arm curls, Becky, my dad and I walked on over to the drinking fountain to drink water. After we drank water, we walked to the locker room again and stepped right up on the scale again to see what we weigh this time. My dad and I had a very great workout, Becky! Planet Fitness is just where I need to be to workout on the treadmill, the exercise bike and the arm curling machine so I can work up a sweat. Well, Becky, it's been nice talking to me while I'm writing on my blog about going to Planet Fitness with my dad to workout. My dad made a nice tuna salad for supper tonight that I'm gonna have for supper soon. I'm gonna go now, Becky, so I can meet you again to go see the Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey someday at a movie theater. Natalie would like to go with us if she wants to. Good-bye, Becky, and I'll see you soon!
